"The world is in desperate need of strong men, but no man can stay steady in isolation. We aren't just building a list; we are building a brotherhood."

Brad Thorberg

The Mission (Origin Story)

I’ve been building businesses since I was 11 years old. From mowing lawns to owning a GOLFTEC franchise for 11 years, to climbing the ladder to a VP of Marketing role today, I’ve spent my life in the "Trench".

But here is the truth I’ve learned at 41: You can be a VP at work and still feel like you’re losing at home. You can have the Faith, but still feel like you’re drifting without a map.

I’m not writing this because I’ve perfected leadership; I’m writing this because I’m in the fight with you. I want to be a better leader for my wife and daughter, and a better steward of the teams I lead. I want to grow—and I want to grow alongside you.

The Steady Lead is an invitation to join me in building a brotherhood of men who want to be more. We are here to simplify the mission and raise the lid for the next generation of leaders.

We use Christian principles to stay grounded on three fronts:

  • The Hearth (Home): Growing as husbands and fathers who are actually present.

  • The Trench (Work): Leading our teams with grit and integrity.

  • The Altar (Faith): Walking alongside the Creator to find our daily orders.

Every Monday, I’ll send the digital Intel. Every month, I’ll ship a physical Field Manual and Mandate Card to your door—so we have the same blueprints in our hands.

The Perimeter Check: This week, I’m joining you in the "No-Phone Threshold". When we hit that driveway, the job title stays in the truck. Let’s give our families our eyes, not our screens. Set the phone aside for that first hour and be more present than ever with them.

The Trench (work)

The "Yes" Audit: We both know the trap of busyness. This week, let’s identify one task that doesn't serve our mission or our people and cut it loose.

The Altar

Mark 3:27: "No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man." The Brotherhood Goal: Let’s stop being bound by the noise and start leading with a perimeter.
